I’ve been re-watching The Munsters and stuff about bats. Researching oolong tea, Listening to Colour Me Wednesday and The Tuts, and then I coughed up this as a side effect.

I recently received copies of the above title, written by Ann Turnbull, and illustrated by me! This book will  be added to The National Archives and most likely the second one as well, which I am currently working on.

Just finished some illustrations for an educational children’s fiction, here’s a few. It’s based on historical fact, so I had to be pretty accurate with the clothing and environment,  which was fun. The story is about a family living through plague in 16th century London.

Winter In Paris

Thought I’d heed some advice from my agent and start working on themes and subjects focusing on seasonal imagery, representation of POC, children, landmarks, different countries. I enjoyed this one, wanted a windy, wintery feel, but with some of those lovely autumnal colours added in.
