'Always Hear The Same Shit!', Mini-comic

This was a fun side project I started almost a year ago when a very upsetting incident took place regarding The Tuts and friends. I didn't know how to express my anger in any way other than through drawing. I wasn't there when it took place but it really saddened me. It’s clunky and awkward since I haven’t done anything comic-wise for absolutely ages but It helped me understand what The Tuts and friends had to go through.

The Tuts girl gang girl

Hello!

Just a t-shirt/patch/tote bag/anything else design I did for The Tuts again. An all-girl, 3-piece, raucous punk band.
Inspiration taken from Switchblade Sisters (1975), 80’s hairdos and The Tuts.

After doing This I started looking at Love & Rockets a comic series by the Hernandez brothers which, deals with similar themes to this  illustration: punk, lots of good female characters and black and white artwork!

Kate Nash & The Tuts, 1/11/12 at The Shacklewell Arms

Went to see Kate Nash and the Tuts at The Shacklewell Arms. Kate Nash was incredible! The Tuts looked amazing in their mermaid themed outfits, but I could barely see Bev Tut in that weird little lonely alcove. So the venue was a bit annoying, but all in all, a great gig.

Colour Me Wednesday Merch!

…and a Tuts patch throne in for good measure. Just wanted to take a few progress snaps, (these aren't very good photos).

My designs have a purpose in life now! CMW have been beavering away relentlessly to get the designs onto t-shirts, and patches. There’s also lovely tote bags that have been hand printed with love too, (very good quality I might add). Need to take pictures of them. If you live around West London go see these crafty, DIY bands live on Sunday at Uxbridge.
